1955 DOUBLE DIE OBVERSE LINCOLN CENT REPLICA
A genuine high quality 1955 Dbl Die Obv Lincoln Cent would be worth well over $20,000.
The coin was designed by Victor D. Brenner in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's birth. The Lincoln Cent was the first coin in US history to be stamped with the motto 'In God We Trust'.
The 1955 Double Die Obverse error coin was created by improperly manufactured dies, which show a double outline of both the date and legend on the obverse of the coin.
No one knows exactly how many of the error coins were stamped, however they are extremely valuable.
