1916 STANDING LIBERTY QUARTER REPLICA
This replica coin shows an interpretation of the classical standing Liberty Quarter, where on the obverse shows the Lady Liberty holding a sword and shield while the reverse shows a flying eagle.
The year 1916 celebrates the first year of the minting of the Standing Liberty Quarter. The Standing Liberty Quarter was designed by Hermon A. MacNeil, whose initial M is located above and to the right of the coin's date. The coin pictures the left arm of Lady Liberty upraised, uncovering a shield in the attitude of protection. Her right hand bears the olive branch of peace.A genuine 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter in this condition would sell for over $30,000.
Please be advised this coin is 0.2 mm larger than the original, and will not fit in a standard coin album.
