The majority of the Great American Coin Company custom designed bar come in a clear plastic holder. These are not solid silver bars, but are clad/layered in .999 silver. All metal bars are stamped ".999 FINE CLAD". Great American Coin Company clad silver bars are novelty items and are not solid silver.
